Job Description

The role is responsible for driving the organization’s business strategy in the designated area. The incumbent is accountable for topline growth and delivering non-volume agendas like Coverage and Distribution. S/he will lead a team of Territory Sales Officers/Executives and liaise with Trade Partners to achieve business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing the distribution infrastructure.
  • Implementing the Customer Marketing strategies for the various brands / channels.
  • Accountable for the supply chain efficiencies.
  • Achievement of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Targets.
  • Manages the external environment (Customers, Influencers, Bureaucracy, and Statutory Authorities).
  • Work with Sales Operations & Marketing team to ensure efficient and effective implementation of Brand strategy & Trade activities.
  • Keep up to date with competitors’ activities and initiatives and customer trends.
  • Optimizing Distributor investment.
  • Handling a team of 6-7 territory managers.
  • Responsible for on the job training and development of Front Line sales force team.
  • Conforming with the sales administration procedures.
  • Developing a strong and motivated sales team.
  • Engage all channel partners for achieving the long term growth for the organization.
  • Analyzing and giving feedback on competitive tactics.
  • Depot handling.

Minimum qualifications

  • BBA/MBA with minimum 6 years of Experience
  • Prior experience as ASM for at-least 2 years
  • Experience in Modern Trade Management / Sales Development roles will be an added advantage
  • Preferred organizations – UBL, Nestle, Coke, Pepsi Foods, GSK, Reckitt-Benckiser
